I was born in phoenix, Arizona, and in my early teens , moved to Payson, Arizona. My interest in art started at the age of 12 when I discovered that I had a natural talent for pencil and charcoal drawing. With the encouragement of my grandmother, I explored other mediums, and in high school took art classes in acrylic, water color, and sculpting.
After high school, I began working with acrylics and won several local competitions. Later I opened a sign shop and began incorporating my art into creating business signs and logos.
When I moved to Texas, I began working in oils. I became a member of the Women's Art Association, and was recognized in their book of records.
In 2006 I became interested in airbrushing, after I discovered an old airbrush I had laid on a shelf years before. I began training, practicing, and found an excellent source for lessons, techniques, and advice, and have since made airbrushing my profession. I have won several awards and have been a featured artist in Airbrush Technique Magazine.
I am an artist who's work is always evolving, exploring the possibilities of creating beauty, in whatever form that may be, through my art.
